I’ve had my company for over 22 years now after having started at the age of 22 – so’ve run a company longer in my life than I did not. After so many years leading my organization there are hundreds of experiences and mistakes I could share, but there is one key concept I developed that I do believe is imperative.

The Vision Gap.  It’s an epiphany I had after years of working with clients on their strategies as well as constantly working on my business.

It seemed a common issue that every organization I met faced, but one that was solvable and could have massive impact.

Leadership is an art, a science, and above all, a journey of self-discovery.

While the word ‘leadership’ might conjure images of charismatic individuals rallying their teams to success, the path to effective leadership is nuanced. It isn’t merely about leading a group or an organization; it’s about vision, obsession, and managing expectations.

Once the foundational aspects are set, how do you go about constructing this vision?

Structure: Remember, a vision without a plan remains a dream. Whether you utilize specialized systems or create your bespoke approach, building your vision requires meticulous planning. The roadmap should be clear, with each step building upon the previous one, ensuring that there’s a logical flow leading to the desired destination.
