YOUR SOCIAL TASK BOARD
At the center of the Meshfire experience is your social task board. Twitter can be difficult to manage for two reasons – information overload and missing important tweets because they pass by in real time. Wouldn’t it be great if everything you need to respond to were set up like a task board? What if someone were constantly monitoring your Twitter traffic, and picking out all the important tweets and adding them to your task board for you? Meshfire gives you Ember, your virtual team member, to do just that.
TASK CARDS ARE THE BREAD AND BUTTER OF MANAGING YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA.
They represent tweets to respond to, people to follow, content to share, and anything else you might need to do to #GetSocialDone. One-click filters help you view tasks by type, tags, or team member assignments. Similar to an inbox, your task cards stay on the board until they are done, discarded, or expired. This way, you know exactly what to respond to next at any given time.
MEET EMBER, YOUR VIRTUAL TEAM MEMBER.
She does a lot of the grunt work for you, so you can focus on interacting with your community. You know, the important stuff. Ember is Meshfire’s virtual team member. She will be adding important tasks to your task board from various sources, assigning tasks to different team members, making suggestions to help grow your community, and protecting you from distracting spam. Just like Meshfire, Ember is always learning and getting better at her job, so expect her to do more and more for you as time goes on!
BULK UPDATE HELPS YOUR TEAM GET TO “TASK BOARD ZERO”.
Want to reassign everything to someone or apply a tag to multiple tasks? You can select-all with one click or multi-select by clicking on cards’ empty areas.
ENGAGE AND INTERACT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR TASK BOARD.
For any given task card, click the Reply button to flip the card over, type a response, send it and complete that task.
Meshfire is a sleek and intuitive social media marketing platform and there are three main points that we like the best about it:
- Helps you manage tons of messages / replies as a team, as opposed to stepping on each others toes on Twitter. It could save a lot of companies the embarrassing or cumbersome task of looking through message histories to see if someone had been answered.
- It has an (unknown) algorithm that provides you with tweets they recommend you interact with. Although I don’t know how this is weighted, it has been pretty helpful in engaging with my followers on a regular basis.
- The dashboard gives you a quick glimpse into everything you need to do when you login. I haven’t played with creating multiple ‘missions’ as of yet, but I imagine there’s a lot more you could do with your dashboard.
