Hey, everybody! The holidays are coming up and it might be time to prepare your ecommerce site for the holiday sales. If you do have an ecommerce site then most likely what you want to do is put a button on the homepage that says holiday specials, Christmas specials, whatever you want and have it go to a page that features the products that you do want to sell right now. Especially products that would be good as gifts to other people. This really helps to make sure you get those conversions related to the holidays.

Another thing you want to do is look at last years stats. What did you do on your site, what things were most popular, where did people go during that time of year, and how can you potentially use that information to improve your site for this year.

The last thing you want to do is look at trends. Look at your competitors and what they have up. Look at what’s really hot this year in sales and make sure that you’ve got the products featured on your homepage or featured in that holiday section that are important for today and what they are looking for. So the holidays are coming up, make sure you get the most out of your ecommerce site and make some of those little changes to get some improvements.
