Google Inst…

Google Instant enables users to see results while typing a query without having to hit enter. Every single letter typed into the search bar activates a predictive search until a user finds what he/she is looking for.

According to the polls, Google Instant seems to be getting two thumbs up from users. However, for marketing gurus, Google Instant just made SEO more difficult.

Although the general population tends to enjoy the new predictable search, SEOer’s disagree. Google Instant drastically cuts down on the amount of words being looked for in one’s search. For example, instead of someone searching for a restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio – you now only need to type in: A restaurant in Cl – and just like that, Google did it again! Read your mind and brought up hundreds of restaurants in Cleveland without the word Cleveland being typed out.

SEO is more important now than ever. Having the first few spots on the first page is key in order to drive traffic to your site. Make sure your business doesn’t get left behind by investing some time in search engine optimization.
