Chad explains why it is important to have two different versions of your logo for web and for print.
One thing we always encourage with our clients is to have two different versions logo when their branding is developed. One for web and one for print. This is because the differences in how the production is with both of them. Web works better with things like gradients and shadows, where as prints has a lot more vibrants in the colors. However the process makes it so that gradients don’t look so well. We tend to produce two versions of each piece so no matter what you’re going to be transferring them on it will look strong.
